Hi y’all — we’re the duo behind Where to Next Y’all! Our names are Christen and Jordan and we’re two best friends that met in Rome, Italy, studying abroad in college back in 2018.

 

In our mid-20s, we traded in our 9-5 jobs for passport stamps and plane tickets. What started as a wild dream turned into the adventure of a lifetime when we quit our corporate jobs, stored everything we owned in our parents’ basements, and set off on a one-way trip around the world with just a carry-on and $25,000 each in savings.

In 2023, what we thought would be a 3-month break turned into a 6-month journey across 5 continents and 20 countries — and eventually, a whole new way of life.

 

Our favorite part? Meeting incredible people who quickly become lifelong friends.

Today, we travel in "seasons," taking on contract work while back in the States and heading off for new adventures during the summer months. We've now explored over 30 countries across 6 continents — sharing every moment on Where to Next Y’all.

 

Our mission is simple: inspire others to chase their dreams, take the leap, and trust that the risk is worth the reward. Whether it’s quitting your job, booking that flight, or trying something completely new — we’re here to say: life’s too short. Book the trip. We’re proof that you don’t need a perfect plan — just a carry-on and maybe a friend who’s just as crazy as you are.
